Korean Lunch & Thai Dinner

Both girls back at school today, even with Addison not feeling quite better yet. She was still smiling when I left her though, and she slept better last night than the night before, so that’s a step in the right direction!

Emerson also told me multiple times this morning that she didn’t wanna go to school today, but who wouldn’t rather stay home with their Mama all day? She did fine though too, and drop-off was easy as always.

Jeff picked me up from the office today and took me on another lunch date, right back to Takko Korean Taqueria again, this time for taco Tuesday, which meant $2 off the street taco combo. It was so delicious and yummy and unique, and it’s definitely one of our new favorite places.

Both girls had a good day at school, and Addison was even able to take a couple of good naps, which is rare for her.

For dinner, I made Thai style yellow curry with chicken and vegetables and some of the frozen naan from Trader Joe’s, spread with my garlic chive butter we made yesterday. And this was so delicious too!

Baby Chickpea didn’t want to sit in her seat tonight, and she didn’t really want to eat any of her baby food, but she was ok with Mama holding her!

I got the girls in the bathtub after dinner, and they both had fun splashing around for a little bit together. Jeff took care of Addison once she was all clean, and I took care of Emerson.

We had kind of a rough time getting both of them actually down for good, after multiple times getting up and waking up, but by 9:15, they were both either already asleep, or almost there. I was feeling extremely tired, so I laid down on the couch for a few minutes, and Pretzel came over to cuddle for a bit.

Jeff offered to wash up some of the dishes, and I’ve been working on this blog. I’m going to go finish up the dishes now (maybe, I think…), and then head to bed, because I’m just feeling super tired tonight and ready for bed!
