Jumping with Cousins

Today has been a long day, so I’m mostly just photo-dumping a TON of photos, with minimal writing, since it’s already 10pm… Addie had some breakfast while Jeff and I took turns getting ready. (Remember, Emmie was at Nana’s house with her big cousins.)

Then we attempted to meet Nana & the girls downtown for Springtime Tallahassee. SO we parked in my office parking garage, and walked 15 steps, when it started thundering & lightning. Emerson was also supposed to perform a cute little dance with her class from school too.

But we changed plans last minute, and took the girls to Urban Air instead.

We had a quick interlude at the mall, doing some shopping and eating lunch, and we had a little run-in with the Easter bunny! He saw Emmie and came running towards her, arms outstretched for a hug, and she ran to him so excited! But the mean ladies were like, “No personal photography, you have to purchase photos.” So that was rude…

And Libby got a second ear piercing today! She was so brave, and said it didn’t even hurt, and she hardly knew it had happened.

Baby girl finally fell asleep after lots of chicken nugget bites and a ride around the mall…

Then we went back to Nana’s house for Emmie to take a nap…

Before we returned for more playtime at Urban Air, since we had purchased the all-day-admission tickets.

Libby and Andie were big enough for the ropes course, and did so well up on that.

Emmie found one of her school friends, and his little sister, and they got to play together for a little while too, in the ball pit and the trampolines.

And Addie slept through all the noise and music and hoopla of Urban Air, but woke up when we got outside in the quiet, fresh air.

We picked up some pizzas on the way home, and Addie tried green olives for the first time.

The girls picked out these sweet little “best friends forever” bracelets, which I just thought was so precious.

Andersen had Addison giggling so much right before we went home!

Emmie hated to leave to go back home, and had a small fit. A few times on the way home, she repeated, “It’s just so hard to leave family. It’s just so hard to leave the big girls.” But we promised Andie & Libby could come back to visit in the summer, and she could have another sleepover with them then.

This morning was super nasty – the parade ended up getting cancelled, and I’m not sure if her class even did their dance or not – but this beautiful sunset on the way home was a nice way to end a fun day!

We had to do a super quick bath at home to clean up after so much trampoline jumping, and we had an issue with a boo-boo and a bandaid, so it was 9:30 before we got Emmie settled down to sleep. Addie was easier to get down for bed luckily, so both girls are now sleeping. Jeff and I are both exhausted now too, so we’ll be going to bed very soon.

The problem is, we were supposed to have a late-night grocery pick-up from 9-10pm, but at 9pm on the dot, they sent an email saying it was delayed. But it’s 10:15 now, and it’s still not ready, so I need to figure out how to just move the pickup to tomorrow, and hopefully we won’t have any more issues with that…
