Gyro & Hummus & Pita

Addison wanted to show off her walking skills this morning, and Emerson chose to wear a Christmas penguin dress one more time this “winter season” since it was very cold again this morning.

Went out for a delicious lunch with my work bestie Heather today. We went through a bunch of options, and both decided on Sahara, and it was a really good choice. I got the gyro platter with Greek salad and hummus, plus their “Sahara tea,” which is sooo good, but I don’t even know how to describe it. Heather got the chicken shawarma plate with Lebanese fries & Greek salad, and she loved hers too. We both cleaned our plates.

Just one pic from school today, of this little baby monkey climbing the toy shelf in her classroom.

Made a traditional pasta with meat sauce and salad for dinner tonight, and it was yummy too. Also, I got some new plates! The short story is, I wanted to copy my MIL when she got these exact same plates. The long story is, these are actually the plates she bought, and when I went to Walmart to buy the same ones, they had the royal blue color at my Walmart that she wanted, I bought those for her, and then we switched and I took these lighter blue ones of hers that I wanted.

We rearranged the dinner table to put Addie over by Jeff, and she liked her new spot over there by him tonight. She also really loved her parmesan butter noodles, and ate SO MUCH of that tonight.

We also gave her a sippy cup to try out for the first time. And although she was definitely very excited about it, she really didn’t actually drink anything from it.

Then she bounced and hopped and twirled around in here for about 30 minutes, while Emmie hopped around and had a dessert and then watched Rapunzel on her Kindle for a bit.

Bedtime for Addison went super easy, and although she only wanted her Daddy (and literally cried when I tried to hold her), she drank her bottle and then fell asleep quickly. Emerson on the other hand is still awake (at 9:10pm right now), and currently waiting for me to come back and check on her one last time. (Which will in fact be my third time, and Jeff’s been in three extra times too.)

I’ve got some dishes to wash now, so I’m going to set up my phone in the window sill, and watch the first episode of Survivor season 20, which I’m really excited about. I never planned to watch every single episode of every single season, but somewhere along the way, that’s what has been happening… But season 20 is Heroes vs Villain’s, with a full cast of all returning players, and I’m looking forward to it.
