Addie’s First Slice of Pizza

Well, with the time change last night, and an accidental late night tonight, it’s almost 10pm, and I’m just now starting to write. So I’m just gonna make this as quick and easy as possible, so I can head off to read a little, and then sleep soon after… I was in Emerson’s class for Sunday school this morning, and we had a good little class today.

Delicious spicy jalapeno ranch pizza & Caesar salad at Newk’s with the family today after church.

Emmie had some playtime out front with Uncle Keith while she waited on all of us to finish eating…

Emmie went home with Grammy, Papa & Grandmommie after lunch, so we just had this one kid at home this afternoon. And she was a very happy little girl this afternoon!

After this bottle, she fought me just a little bit, and then finally went to sleep, and I was able to lay her down in her bed. I had plans to run some errands and finish putting away last night’s groceries, but I fell asleep in the recliner instead…

Here are the pictures of Emmie’s afternoon with Grammy & Papa that my mom sent me…

And Addison had such a good nap, that she woke up with this handprint on her little face, and it was still there 10 minutes later!

Then we went out to my parents’ house, to hang out a bit and eat dinner with them. The girls also had a bath while we were there.

And Addie had her first ever pizza tonight! I had started out pinching off teeny tiny bites for her, but then Papa came over and just let her go to town on his piece, and she absolutely loved it!

This was one very tired little baby after her bath time. She fell asleep in the car within minutes of us heading home.

We did the whole bedtime routine as soon as we got home, and it was pretty easy to get both girls down, even though it was a little later than usual. We got all the cold groceries put away last night, but everything else is still out on the counter, so I’m going to go get all of that put away now. Jeff washed all the bottles earlier, so only other thing left to do is pack up the girls’ bags for another week of school…
