Goodbye Nemo

We were all slow and sleepy this Thursday morning, which is typical after our late night’s on Wednesday nights. But we did eventually make it out the door, and everyone got to work and school, only slightly late.

Addie was all about the dryer ball she found this morning, and carried it around the house for a while, and still needed it for picture time. I love these fall dresses, but I especially love the little mushrooms and acorns on Emmie’s dress.

Got just a couple of pictures of Addie Pie at school today.

After work and school, the girls and I met up with Grammy & Papa at Gordo’s for dinner time. We had a simple and casual dinner, but it was so nice to be together.

I ordered water for Addison, and Sprite for Emerson. But when Addie realized they weren’t the same thing, the little thief snuck over and stole big sister’s drink for the rest of the time.

Addie was literally yelling, “Goodbyyyyeee Nemooo!!!”

Addison had gotten a hold of a pen in the car on the way to dinner, and colored all over both thighs, and one shin, and even her little cheeks. Emerson did eventually get it away from her, but all the doodles had already been doodled by then.

So with all the doodles and everything, I got the girls in the bath tub as soon as we got home, and got them both nice and clean. Afterwards was obviously snack time and movie time. I introduced them to “A Bug’s Life” earlier this week, and we’ve been slowly watching a little bit every night. We’re almost to the end of it now, and they’re very into it, as you can see from their intense concentration.

Bedtime actually went very smoothly tonight, and both girls were sound asleep pretty quick. Got them into their beds, and tucked into their soft blankies, and they were both snoring softly. I need to set up a few things for tomorrow, and also do my nails tonight. And of course try to work on my puzzle a little bit. I got all the edges done last night, but literally needed my Mommy to help me through a picture, because I somehow had two pieces leftover, even after I thought it was done 😉 But she could tell through the picture which part looked funky, and I got it fixed from her suggestion. She’s the puzzle master!
