These beauties were excited to see Aunt Meggie walking over this morning. She had already dropped off the triplets and was on the way to her van, but of course we all needed hugs and loves first!
Then we stopped by the trippies classroom for hugs and loves, but it was such a chaotic, squishy huddle, this one blurry photo is all I could manage today 🙂
But all five girls had a perfect, easy drop off!
Lots of good pictures of Addison today, hanging out and playing with her friends, and going for multiple buggy rides.
For dinner tonight, we had some air fried “boom boom” shrimp (that I ended up putting inside some romaine and eating like a lettuce wrap), with rice & sautéed brussels sprouts. And this was a really good meal!
Jeff had gone into the office today, and then had to run around town dropping off laptops at Fed-Ex & someone’s house, so we had dinner before he got home. But these girls loved the rice & shrimp. Oh, and their shrimp was plain with no sauce, so no spice.
After dinner, I got the girls into the bathtub, and about halfway through, Jeff got home, so he was able to help get them out of the tub and dried and dressed and started on bedtime.
So, I’ve seen multiple videos of this girl on TikTok who does tons of puzzles all the time, and always picks them up like this. Sometimes they all crumble apart, and sometimes they stay together, and I just had to try it. Well color me ecstatic when it actually worked!
Both girls wanted some cuddle time with a tired Daddy, and they were all so sweet piled up in the recliner together for a little while. Then there were lots more hugs all around, before starting on bedtime.
She found these sunglasses and wanted to wear them for a while, and she hopped up and started posing, and asked me to a picture. Then when I showed it to her, she said, “It’s like I’m going to a fancy and I’m riding on a bus!”
Addison did great with bedtime tonight, but Emerson stayed up way too late, needing loves and water and cough meds and another hug and whatever else… It’s now 9:45 and she’s finally starting to fall asleep, and hopefully she’ll stay asleep. I’m heading to wash the dishes and bottles and sippy cups now, and then try to wind down before my own bedtime.
