Gathering Acorns

Look at how excited all these cuties were to see each other at school this morning!

And these two were also very cute this morning too. Also, please notice the pink eye shadow and blush she’s wearing today 🤣 During the snow days, she found a giant “train case” style makeup kit of mine, and she’s been having fun playing with it. And since it’s mostly just pink sparkles, it’s not really hurting anything.

I got to my office this morning to find one last cutie little birthday gift, from my work bestie Heather. She found such cute little goodies for me!

Papa took Emerson to gymnastics again today. So while Addie and I were at school waiting for them, she gathered all these acorns, and was so proud of her little collection. She told me she was collecting them for Papa, and she was so excited to give them to him when they got there!

We’ve been eating dinner at the coffee table for the past week, because the main dining room is loaded down with paint supplies and tools and a stack of baby puzzles we need to donate. Plus some Amazon boxes and who even knows what else. So for now, we’re watching movies while we eat, like “The Wild Robot,” and “Bad Guys,” and tonight was “Despicable Me 2.”

I’ve been loving these simple little pictures to color at night. It’s so easy to color without overthinking it, or worrying too much about how it turns out. I can just turn my brain off and relax.

Emerson had to finish up her homework after dinner and a movie, and then we read some books together in Addie’s room before bedtime.

And then we had to read one more book in Emerson’s room.

I washed up a load of dishes earlier while dinner was cooking, and then just rinsed off the plates afterwards, and they can wait till tomorrow… Gonna finish my coloring page and watch a couple episodes of “The Office” with Jeff.
