Look at how stinking cute this girl is, in her little matching floral track suit with hoodie! This outfit is from Aunt Meggie, and I was obsessed with this on her today.
We went out to a birthday party for one of Emmie’s church friends today, and it was a beautiful morning, and a very chill laid-back party, with the sweetest little group of girls.
We went back to our house for tuna sandwiches for lunch, and then all of us napped. Emmie was in her bed, then Addie fell asleep in my arms after her bottle, then I fell asleep holding her in the recliner, and eventually Jeff just laid down to sleep on the couch for a bit. And then we went over to our friends’ Britteny & Stephen’s house to let the little girls play and for us to eat cheeseburger and watch the FSU football game, and what a great ending to that game!!
(And yes, they’ve already decorated for Christmas!)
Elly had skipped her nap today and was super tired, so Britteny put the girls in her bed to watch Elsa, and Elly ended up falling asleep, so Emmie just kept on playing by herself for a little bit!
She picked up these tiny 1-pound weights, and said something like, “Where’s the heavy weight?” I don’t know, I forgot to write it down, but whatever it was, it was super cute and funny, and kinda just like, “Oh this thing? it’s nothing.”
We didn’t mean to stay over there as late as we did, but we were having such a good time and we ended up wanting to watch the end of the game, so by the time we got home, it was past Emmie’s bedtime. Luckily though, she was super tired from a day of playing hard with friends, and she conked out super easily.
We’ve got some chores and cleaning and laundry to handle now, since we were gone for almost the whole day, before we can turn in for bed later. Luckily, I’m actually not super tired right now, and I should be able to get a good amount of stuff done, in hopefully a short amount of time…
