Flashlight Egg Hunt

Today was a long, busy day, and I have a ton of photos. Plus, it’s already past 10pm, so I’m gonna try to speed-write this, so I can go get myself some rest! Both my girls were pretty in pink this morning, ready for egg hunts at school!

Emmie brought a bag of random things for GREEN show & tell, and she said the silliest thing was this one green Oscar the Grouch sock.

Both of the girls at Easter parties with special snacks and egg hunts and candy as well, and had a good Friday.

Then when I got to school to pick them up at the end of the day, I found Addie riding on the bye-bye buggy with her friends, so I scooped her up before going to grab big sister.

We went to Zaxby’s up on the north side of town for dinner, and ate out on the patio since their dining room was closed, which was fine since the weather was so nice tonight.

Addie was playing peek-a-boo with Daddy and his hat.

Gabe carried Addie to the car, and held Emmie’s hand when they crossed the road.

Then we went to our church for a flashlight Easter egg hunt! They had games and face painting and crafts and Kona Ice. There were way more people than we expected there to be, but the weather was perfect and we had a great night!

The plan was to do flashlight egg hunts at night, but it was still so light outside, they didn’t need their flashlights, so they just put their flashlights in their baskets. But they did still have a great time of course.

We got the Kona Ice at the very end of the night, once the line died down a little bit, and finally left around 8:40, and made it home around 9pm. Both girls were totally exhausted of course, but luckily bedtime actually went really quick and easy peasy. The boys have gotten their stuff all cleaned up and packed up, and they’ll be heading back to South Carolina tomorrow. We’ve got more Easter fun happening tomorrow with my family, so I need some good rest tonight!
