It’s just getting darker and darker as we continue getting deeper into fall. Today, it was so dark I actually had to turn my flash on my phone, and although Emerson understood it was coming, Addison was clearly not prepared for that bright light 🙂

Sweet girls both had a good drop-off at their respective schools.

And Emmie met up with a sweet little friend and they were able to walk into school together.

After picking up both girls, we dropped off Emmie at church with a chicken nugget kids meal just in time for kids choir. Then Jeff and Addie and I ran over to one of my favorite Mexican places in town, Taqueria Miranda, for a quick dinner before heading back to church for Wednesday night prayer service.

We had a great night at church, but it was late when we got home, so it was straight to bed for our sleepy girls. Jeff got Addison to sleep in literally like 2 seconds, and she was already in her crib by the time Emerson and I finished her routine.

As soon as I finish and hit “publish” I’m going to repaint my fingernails for the first time in a few weeks. (They were looking super rough.) I have chosen a dark blue with some blue & purple sparkly glitter, to match the vibes for Taylor Swifts newest album “Midnights,” which comes out tomorrow at midnight, and I’m so super excited about it!

So I’m going to sit here at the computer desk and watch “Survivor” on Jeff’s giant computer monitor while I paint my nails, and drink a mug of hot tea (that Jeff is currently making for me), and just chill for the rest of the night.
