Double Dishwashers

All four baby girls were so excited to see each other this morning. I LOVE how much they love each other. The babies all repeat “Emmie, Emmie, Emmie” when they see her, and it’s precious. They say “Emmie, Emmie, Emmie” when they go to sit on the curb because all three of them want to sit by her.

On the way to school this morning, Emmie told me she was feeling sleepy already, and planned to nap for two hours at school. I told her that would be great, and she would feel better when she woke up. And she did in fact sleep for 1 hour 50 minutes today!

Once Emmie and I got home from school and work, Jeff and Ryan ran out to CVS for some prescriptions and trash bags (we unexpectedly ran out), and Gabe played with Emmie and helped her put the new clothes she got for Christmas on her doll, and I cooked dinner and washed some dishes.

We had simple baked chicken patty sandwiches for dinner tonight, with mashed potatoes and green beans. Emmie didn’t want the bun, just the patty, but she ended up eating two full patties, and about five bites of potatoes.

The boys worked on dishes after dinner, while I got Emmie dressed and ready for bed. It’s nice to have some big kids around the house to help out with chores every now & then 😉

Emerson picked out which books she wanted Daddy and I to read before bedtime, and then she got plenty of hugs from everyone, before we started on lullabies.

We only have about 30 minutes left of “Wonder Woman,” so we’re going to finally finish that (we had to stretch it out over three nights, because it’s long and I fall asleep on the couch every night), but after we finish it, we’re going to start working on a 3D Harry Potter puzzle that Nana gave us as a family gift for Christmas. Should be fun & entertaining!
