Another super cute fall outfit for Emmie-cille, and a cute hand-me-down puppy outfit for Addie-pie. Both girls just as cute as ever!
For the first time ever, we got a video sent to us through the school’s app, and you know I absolutely loved it!
My friend Heather brought me some buffalo chicken dip and crackers today, and it was a delicious treat for a snack shortly before lunch time.
And then for lunch time, I had last night’s leftovers, all of which were super yummy again today.
And I didn’t have any of my cold coffee to bring to work today, so instead I made a double cappuccino from our communal Keurig coffee station, which was also really yummy.
Sweetest sisters, getting some afternoon loves in the car before hitting the road home.
For dinner, I made Asian chicken lettuce wraps. This was a weekly staple when I was pregnant with Addie and had gestational diabetes, because it was super flavorful, and I could ration out my one small portion of brown rice, and this was very low-carb and keto friendly. I kinda forgot about it the last 6 months, and finally made it again tonight, and it was better than ever! It seems like lots of ingredients, but it’s all super easy, and I can do it all now without a recipe, and the whole family loves this. Between the three of us, we ate the entire pound of chicken, and there were zero leftovers!
Almost forgot the red bell pepper…
“Homemade” Sriracha mayo, using the Japanese kewpie mayo, was super good. After about two bites, I declared this was restaurant-quality delicious, and then made myself two more lettuce wraps.
We leave the Sriracha mayo off of Emmie’s plate, and then it’s not spicy at all, and she loved it and ate every single bite!
Jeff fed Addison a bottle while Emmie and I ate, then I made his plate and he ate while I did bath time with the girls. Emmie was just spouting off random stuff over and over again, and Addie was laughing like crazy!
This little girl was looking so pretty in some new jammies, and also so very proud of herself sitting up! She still can’t do this on the flat floor, but the way the diaper changing mat envelops her seems to create the perfect little seat for her to practice on her own.
And this goofball picked out her own jammies, that didn’t match, and didn’t even fit, but she just went with it.
We had some bedtime issues, but we worked through it, and got Emerson in bed eventually. Addison had easily fallen asleep with Jeff after bath time, and we were able to lay her down in her bed easy enough.
I spent some time cleaning up the kitchen and washing a gigantic load of dishes, and things are looking great now. Time to rest and watch a little bit of tv, and then heading off to bed soon.
