Addison slept really well last night (all through the night, until about 5:30am), and Emerson was sleeping so well, she had to be woken up at 7am! Both girls were well-rested and happy this morning, and so was Mama!
Both girls had a good day at school, and they said Addie was back to her usual, smiley, happy self! So that’s definitely a huge praise!
Busy day at work today, like always… but after work, Jeff met up with us at Gordo’s for dinner…
…Jeff headed home with these two cutie-patooties…
…And I headed off to church for my monthly rotation on praise team, for rehearsal tonight. I missed my turn in January when Emerson had covid, so it felt like forever since I had sung, and it was great to be back!
The moon was big and beautiful tonight, and I loved glancing up at it on my drive home.
When I got home, Jeff had gotten Emerson in bed, but she wasn’t quite asleep yet, so I went in to her room for some night-night loves. Addison was already asleep in Daddy’s arms, but I scooped her up and loved on her for a few minutes, before laying her down in her crib. Jeff went on to bed early, after he fell asleep in the recliner holding Addie. I’ve started up a new season of Survivor again, so I’ve been watching an episode while blogging, and then once it’s over I’m heading to bed soon too.
