Daisies and Rainbows

Today, the girls and I all wore spring colors, hoping the warmer weather will hurry up and get here, because we’re tired of winter.

And if you noticed Emerson’s hair was wet and were curious as to why… it’s because she was trying to get some of my lotion on her own, and ended up with a large stripe of it through the top/front of her hair. So I had to wash her hair out in the sink to get it out. It was funny and also chaotic.

LOVE these photos of Addie looking up at her big sister Emmie. So so very sweet.

Looks like Addison had a good day at school today as usual.

And we even got some pictures of Emerson’s class, and all of their fun little planets!

For dinner tonight, it felt like old times, with most of the family all gathered together for dinner before heading to church together. We met up for dinner at Captain D’s, and then they all attended Generations with us tonight, for the GC Kids awards night.

All the little kids from preschool through fifth grade were recognized for all of the things they’ve been learning during Wednesday night classes, and they performed cute songs and pledges and recited scriptures, and it was so sweet! The triplets’ little preschool class is called Rainbows, and Emmie’s little 5K & 1st grade class is called Daisies. (Some of the older classes are Prims & Stars, and the names are just so cute.)

It was great to go to dinner with the family, and great to have them at our church all together tonight. Both girls were sleepy afterwards, so bedtime went pretty easily once we got back home. Now I’m trying to see if I can find the motivation to tidy up a little bit more tonight, or not….
