Crayon Dress

Today was “red day” for Addison at daycare. And Emerson just looked absolutely adorable in her pink crayon dress I got her for her birthday. I love it so much!

She looked so beautiful, I had to take some special pictures of her just by herself.

Megan picked me up for lunch today, and we went to Margaritas & Cocina. It was both of our first time there, and we both ended up getting the Thursday lunch special, which was a rice bowl (your choice of chicken or beef) for only $10. And it was really good! We both liked my chicken one better than the beef, but the beef was still good.

After work, Addie and and I saw Uncle Bo picking up the triplets from daycare, and we all got hugs and loves before loading up in our separate cars.

At home, I made up my standard tuna salad, and the viral “grinder salad” from TikTok, and rolled it all up into wraps for Jeff and I for dinner. (I actually planned to make sandwiches on toasted bread, but didn’t realize until I was literally looking for the bread tonight, that we had none, because apparently I forgot to order it with our groceries! Luckily, we had two final wraps left.)

Addie rarely actually sits at the table with us anymore these days, but Emmie stayed and ate her meal with us.

I got the girls in the bathtub after dinner, and let them play and splash for even longer than usual, just letting them have fun. Afterwards, we put their dinner plates down on the coffee table, and started up “Bluey,” and they both ate quite a bit more of their food. I painted my nails while they ate and watched a couple episodes, and then we split up to do our usual bedtime routines.

Both girls were good at bedtime, and we got them down with no issues. Need to wash up some dishes, and then we’ll get started on the first episode of season three of Ted Lasso!
