At lunch-time, Megan had a few errands to run, so she picked me up and I went with her. We ran into Hopkins to order some sammiches to-go, and wouldn’t you know it, we’re matching again, both wearing black & white stripes!? We didn’t have time stay & eat, but we had lots of good times running the errands & riding in the car together.

These are the socks I got my hubby for Valentine’s – with Corgi’s and pizzas. I wrote him a note that said something like, “even though we have a dachshund, I know you’re obsessed with Corgi’s, so I got you some Corgi’s.” He has told me repeatedly that his “dream” would be to own “stair step dogs” where they just progressively get taller and bigger 😆

After work, Jeff picked up Emerson from school for a Daddy-Daughter evening, and I went straight out to the church for our monthly women’s missions meeting and dinner. They had dinner at Taco Bell, where she proceeded to eat enough for a 12-year-old, instead of a 2-year-old… She had a cheese roll-up, a crunchy taco, a bag of nacho chips (but no cheese because it’s too spicy for her), and an entire bag of cinnamon twists. The taco was supposed to be for Jeff, but she insisted it was hers, and went to town on that bad boy!

At our missions meeting, we had simple salads, but with lots of good toppings, and my favorite pretzel strawberry jello dessert thing my Grandmother makes.

Emerson had a little meltdown after dinner, and just needed to see mommy, so they drove out to the church and were there about the time our meeting ended. So they came inside, and I to show her off to some of the older ladies who love her so much, and a few who hadn’t seen her before. Plus, she got to see Grammy and Grandmommie, so of course she was a happy camper!

We all went home after that, and we immediately got Emerson ready for a late-ish bedtime. She did good though, and after reading our Bible stories (and shared water with her cheetah), she was sweet about calming down for lullabies.

Jeff is feeling exhausted, so he just told me he might go to bed early, so it looks like I’ve got Netflix to myself tonight!
