Love these little cardigan cuties, looking so precious in their pretty dresses and nice white cardigans.
And I love how excited Emerson was to get into school today!
Looks like Addie had a good day at school today.
I got off work early today to take Emerson to gymnastics, and she did so great! She has really learned and progressed so much in this new class, even just in the past month since I’ve last taken her. Loved getting to watch her today.
We had to fill up the tank with gas afterwards, and we went inside looking for dog food, because we were completely out.The one bag/brand of dog food they had was incredibly overpriced though, so we didn’t get that. Emerson did talk me into a cheap little snack though, with a $1.29 slushie and a $1.99 slice of cheese pizza, which she ate every single bite of. And then we ran into Walmart for the reasonably priced dog food.
We picked up Addison of course, and then headed home to make dinner. We had an extremely simple meal – just had to boil ravioli, bake the garlic bread, and microwave some roasted garlic red sauce. Then bing bang boom, done in like 10 minutes.
Addie wasn’t in the mood to eat, and literally wouldn’t take even one bite of her food by herself. But Emmie came in and saved the day, by doing all the airplane/helicopter/bus noises and flying bites, and got her to eat almost her whole plate. She did such a good job taking care of her, and was just the best big sister and helper.
We stayed outside playing for as long as we could, until the mosquitos got so bad we couldn’t take it anymore, and had to call it quits and head indoors.
We got the girls into their matching kitty cat nightgowns, snacks all around, and read a book together on the couch. That was followed by two episodes of “Bluey,” and then once we turned on a video of ocean waves, and sang two lullabies, these girls were both out like a light.
I don’t feel like washing dishes tonight, so I’m just not gonna… And now it’s time for a snack for myself, and some tv time, and probably some mindless scrolling on my phone, before finally heading off to bed. I did actually finish the unicorn puzzle last night, but I’m already itching to start a new one. So maybe I’ll do that for a little bit first…
