We were glad for the warmer weather this morning, and the need for a few less layers today.

For lunch today, Mama, Aunt Suzanne, Megan and I all went out together. We tried out this new-ish place called Cava, which is Greek/Mediterranean food, and it was sooo good. I did a BYOBowl, and chose saffron rice with spicy lamb meatballs and roasted sweet potatoes, plus tons of veggies and dips and sauces to top it all off. Plus a cucumber mint lime juice, which was so refreshing. And I loved it all so much! This new restaurant took over what used to be Zoe’s (which I also loved), but I think I might like this even more. Will definitely be one of my “usual places” now.
And not only was the food absolutely delicious, but it was also great company with us ladies all together! We all said we wished we had more time together, more like a 2-hour lunch!

Then we had a quick dinner at Steak n Shake before church tonight.
Then after a great worship and prayer service, we headed back home and got the girls going on bedtime, which went really smooth tonight.
I’m in the mood to do some coloring in one of my cute adult coloring books, so I’m going to get one of those out, and my nice colored pencils, and watch some tv with my hubby while I color.
