Buffalo Chicken for Breakfast

OK so yesterday, I said it was just gonna be a photo dump, and then I wrote a lot. Today though, it’s really late already (9:45 as I start typing), and I still have a lot to do before tomorrow morning. So I really am not going to write a bunch…

Fan/tailgating day at GC this morning, so we got Emmie in her Seminoles dress, and Addie in some almost-garnet 😉

They even had tailgate food set up for the morning snack – so we had turkey & pepper jack sliders, with buffalo popcorn chicken for breakfast 🤣

After an absolutely incredible worship service, including baptism for four kids, about four teenagers, and probably 10 adults (I was sobbing through most of it, it was really so amazing!), we went out to Dreamland for kids-eat-free Sunday with Meg & Bo & the trippies.

Then it was nap time for the girls at home…

While Jeff spent a couple of hot hours working on my car. Something about the alternator, and the S-belt? He also had the battery tested (it’s still good), and maybe he’s working on something for the a/c? I don’t know, but I know he’s so smart & handy & I’m so glad he can do stuff like this for us.

He got cleaned up, and we went for dinner & playtime at Nana & PopPop’s house.

Popsicles for dessert.

Jammies before leaving, and one more snack…

Then Jeff went back out to the carport to keep working on my car, while I rocked Addie to sleep (easy peasy), and went through Emmie’s bedtime routine with her (not so easy, she hated that Daddy couldn’t come inside to love her).

But all that took a while since I did it by myself, and then I “helped” Jeff outside for a few minutes (which means I crouched there and handed him things), before coming in to start on this. I left my phone on Emmie’s nightstand playing some instrumental orchestral music she loves, so I’ve got to tiptoe back in there, hoping she’s asleep, and sneak my phone out so that I can listen to an audio book while I work on dishes and getting Emmie’s lunch stuff started for the week…
