Breakfast Besties

Back to our regular schedule today, with both girlies back at school.

Even Pennie was on her way into the sister pics.

I’ve been reading “Sandwich” by Catherine Newman on my lunch breaks this week, and really, really loving it. It’s about a family at the beach for a vacation week, and even though the mom is older than me, and her kids are much older, there’s still so much in it that resonates with all mothers, in both good and bad ways.

Addie is learning about keeping her teeth healthy at school this week, learning how to brush correctly and getting everything clean.

Ran into Aunt Meggie and the triplets picking up Baby Hayden from school today. They were already loading up in the van, so Emmie had to jump up in there with them to love on the baby.

It was just me and the girls for dinner tonight, but I baked an Aldi ham & cheese quiche, put together some little yogurt parfaits with strawberries & granola and made some toast. My girlies love breakfast, and so this was a big hit all around, and they both ate really well.

And just look how cute these little parfaits are!

Addison just picked up her little piece of quiche and ate it like a piece of pizza.

Coincidentally, Emerson was wearing her “breakfast besties” jammies, which just matched the vibes so perfectly.

This little goofball and her milk mustache was just so silly and so cute.

We had another quick and easy bedtime tonight, praise the Lord for that, and both girls are sleeping soundly. Gonna wash up just a little bit of dishes, and then get back to my book a little bit more before it’s time to go to bed.
