For the final show & tell of the year, Emerson wanted to take a picture of her with her favorite squishmallow, Zozo, and take the printed photo in to show all her friends. I thought that was a such a great idea, and I was so proud of her for coming up with that!
Emerson was looking very sporty today, with those tiny legs of hers and her cute pink tennis shoes. Girlfriend was very ready for junior gym today!
And my little Addie-lemon-girl was so sweet and happy, just like always!
These Asian chicken lettuce wraps & dumplings were sooo good again for lunch today. (And that stack of books is where I prop my phone to watch Survivor while I eat, instead of actually reading them… I just haven’t had as much of an urge to read lately as I used to!)
Look how happy she was to share her Zozo pictures!
Emerson was running around on the playground like a wild woman when I got to school to pick her up, and I loved seeing her so bright-eyed, with the biggest smile on her face, that brightened up even more when she saw her Mama!
Baby Sister fell asleep in the car, on our way to Nana’s house for dinner.
But she ate like such a big girl tonight! She had everything that we had, and cleaned her whole tray! I even gave her seconds, and she ate some of that too, although by then, she was mostly just playing in her mashed potatoes.
Nana and Emerson made some homemade chocolate chip cookies after dinner for dessert, and sent us home with some of them too.
I sat down and put Addison to sleep while they made cookies, because she was SO TIRED, she literally could not hold her eyes open, and her eyes were rolling back in her head. Even still, she fought me a little bit, but I got her to sleep, and I just had some quiet time with her while Emmie and Daddy and Nana played together (pop-pop was at a church thing). We stayed a little later than we usually do, and then did a late bedtime immediately when we got home.
