Wacky Tacky

Addison was especially happy and cheerful this morning before school, with her little “tight pants” and tiny pudgy belly. She was just the most adorable!

And for my goofy biggest girl, today was wacky tacky day for “red ribbon week,” so we definitely picked out a crazy, mismatched outfit for today. And she let me do some crazy stuff with her hair too!

She didn’t want to fully stop for pictures for Daddy though, because that little girl back there is one of her besties, and they wanted to walk in together once the dads left them.

One of my sweet coworkers made these cute little Halloween treat baskets for our whole unit, and I couldn’t help but  eat all of that special “bark” before bringing the rest of the box home to share with the fam 😉

We got a couple of cute photos of Addie at school today.

After work, I ran to pick up both girls as fast as I could, then headed to church. Jeff picked up Wendy’s for Emerson and I, and after scarfing down a Jr. Bacon Cheeseburger, Emmie went to kids choir and I went to praise team rehearsal. Then Jeff and Addie had dinner at Bojangles, before heading back to church for our Wednesday night prayer service.

We had a great worship & prayer service tonight, and got to see some friends and family, and do a little mid-week recharge. When we got home, it was past our usual bedtimes, so we instantly started getting the girls ready for bed. Both were exhausted, and bedtime was smooth and easy, and they were both asleep quickly.

I’m gonna go find myself a snack, and then sit down to watch all the TikTok videos Jeff has DM’d me over the past couple of days. He loves sending me a bunch, and then we sit on the couch and watch them together, so we can laugh at them together. Cheesy, I know, but it’s fun 🙂
