Vegetarian Friday

Cute little matching orange girls, who were glad (just like they’re Mama!) that it was Friday!

We got there when Uncle Bo was getting the trippies out of the van, so we all did drop-off together today. Always gotta take Baby Addie first, and then the bigger girls go to their class.

Jeff took Emmie, and they wrapped up a smooth drop-off Friday for all five little girls.

Had this for lunch today from Trader Joe’s, and it was really delicious. It was too tiny though, and I was hungry again by like 3pm. (I also finished this Kindle book on my lunch break, and it was a super cute, charming small-town rom-com, and I really enjoyed it.)

It’s been a while since we got pictures of Emmie from her teacher, but today she sent out a big bunch of about 15 pics, and I found my girl in one of them!

Jeff put a pan of frozen cheese enchiladas in the oven to bake at 5pm, because they took almost an hour and a half! Then I just made yellow rice and black beans when I got home, and dinner was served. And coincidentally, since my lunch and dinner were both only “cheese” entrees (and I rarely have meat at breakfast anyways), I accidentally had a whole vegetarian day today!

We played for a good long while in Addison’s room. She put on her little puppy-in-a-purse, and started waving and saying “Bye-bye,” and walking towards the door. I guess she was gonna go out on the town! And the girls very sweetly shared a popsicle together for dessert.

She kept standing up on top of this rocking horse, and thought it was hilarious when I would tell her “No, get down so you don’t get hurt!” She literally just laughed at me.

Then Emmie put on some dress-up high heels, and Addie got jealous, so Emmie was trying to help her put just one shoe on.

We finally started on their bedtime, and although Emmie had a small fit about “something in her eye” (although there was nothing), bedtime went well, and both girls were sound asleep pretty easily.

This was one of our library books from a couple weeks ago, that we just read for the first time tonight, and it was so cute and had such beautiful illustrations. It was called “Agnes’s Place,” and I loved it.

Work was absolutely crazy today, and we’ve got a really busy weekend ahead of us. So I’m looking forward to relaxing tonight, before fun and busyness with friends and family for the new few days.
