Two-day Twosday

Last night, I was exhausted, and I went straight to bed after putting Emerson and Addison to sleep. I didn’t clean the kitchen, wash dishes or bottles, or blog. So tonight, this is one giant two-day post (and it’s also “Twosday,” 2/22/22!), for both yesterday & today. I am still tired though, and I do still have dishes to wash, so I’m going to bust this out as quickly as possible…

The triplets got to school first yesterday, so we stopped by to get some hugs before taking Emmie to her class.

Got a couple pics from school…

We had sloppy joes for dinner last night, and Emmie ate her whole sandwich, and even Addie got to try some too!

I let her eat a small piece of cake right out of the dish, so we didn’t have to dirty up another plate.

And then like I already said, I got Emmie down for bed around 8:15, and I put myself to bed around 8:30. I woke up at 5:50 this morning, feeling better and mostly-well-rested.

Then we got started on another day today…

And we stopped by to see our triplets again this morning too!

Still loving this kinda crazy random snack, and was good for my morning snack at work today.

And got a couple pics from school again today…

Then for dinner, we had store-bought carnitas tacos and I made homemade guacamole, and it was all really delicious.

Emerson tried guacamole again tonight (not her first time), but she did decide she liked it tonight, and even asked for more!

And another piece of cake from the dish – no need to dirty up extra dishes, right?! 😉

Bedtime for Addison went easy peasy lemon squeezy, because the girl passed out as soon as she finished her bottle.

Emerson on the other hand has been giving us a run for our money tonight, pulling off some of her old shenanigans, not wanting to sleep. I think Jeff finally got her to bed a few minutes ago, at almost 9pm now, so hopefully she’ll stay there now and go to sleep soon. I’m going to set a timer and wash dishes until it goes off (maybe 20 minutes?), and then go to sleep once I finish that.
