Tunacado Encore

It’s late, and we’ve had a long night, and I don’t feel like “talking” much…

The day started good, with goofy, happy girls.

And it seemed like Addie was having a good day…

And my “tunacado” worked out better today, now that my avocado’s were ripe. I’ll have to do this more often.

But then this afternoon, the school called us to say she had gotten sick and thrown up, so Jeff had to go pick her up. She threw up two more times once he got her home, and then she just laid on him and slept for two hours.

Grammy picked up Emerson this afternoon, and she had another great lesson at gymnastics class.

Then her and I went home, and poor little Addie was still so pitiful and sleepy and quiet. I ate leftover BBQ chicken pizza from the other night, and the girls both just ate white rice with butter. They both really love rice, and it was nice and bland for Addie to eat with her upset tummy anyways. (Jeff ate a late lunch though, and wasn’t hungry.)

Oh, and Emmie had a cup of warm pomegranate tea after dinner.

And then when I sent Emerson back to get her nightgown on while I put away the leftover rice, she also made my bed for me, and turned on both lamps, and laid out her new school library book for us to read. Then she was just standing there quietly waiting for me to come back there. Golly this girl is so precious!!!

And then after our usual stuff, she laid down, and I sat on the end of the bed texting silently for just about three minutes, and girlfriend was out. I carried her to her room, said her prayers, and she was totally asleep.

Even though Addie wasn’t feeling well (and she was very sensitive and cried about everything mostly all night), she refused to fall asleep easily, so Jeff has still been holding her for a while. Hopefully she’s out now, and hopefully this is just a little stomach bug that’s almost done, or maybe even a bad reaction to lunch or something. And hopefully none of the rest of us get sick either…
