Travel & Traffic

Quick breakfast this morning from the fancy gas station (since we were out of breakfast food and coffee creamer) and then half days of school and work went by super fast!

I ran into the library super fast to return a book and pick up a few holds, and the sweet librarian recognized me and said, “Here, I know I usually give stickers to your kiddos so you can take these to them.” I thought that was so thoughtful!

Then I went home to finalize all the last minute packing and such. Nana and Poppop dropped Pennie off at the Pet Paradise for us, then Nana picked up Emmie from school and came to my house. We loaded up all the things into Nana’s new car, and then picked up Addie after nap time at school was over.

Traffic on I-10 was pretty thick, then it thinned out on I-75, until we got to Ocala… Then we were basically just sitting still. So we hopped off for a potty break and decided to have dinner to hopefully let some of the traffic pass by. (That didn’t really work though.)

So by the time we made it to the Sheraton time-share resort, it was 8:30pm. Then by the time we got unloaded and “moved in,” and laid out clothes and scrounged up some snacks, and for the girls ready for bed, it was 10pm. Addie looks so cute in this bed, but she was definitely not asleep and just being silly. Emmie though was truly reading when I found her like this.

It’s now almost 11pm, and I think I’m the last one awake. I decided to write out this short post since I didn’t have a ton of pictures, and could do it all really quickly. Going to get myself ready for bed super fast now, and try to get a good nights’ rest. I’m gonna need it!
