These girls are just so cute! Look at these little poses; mostly Addie with the light pole 😄
I’ve been cutting up the breakfast casserole into bite-sized pieces for Addie’s breakfast all week, and sending it with her in a bowl in the car. And finally today I was like, “Hey, why don’t I do that for myself too?” And it was so convenient and delicious! And it went perfect listening to Ina Garten’s memoir on audio book.

A few times a year, Bo and Megan (and some of their GC Kids youth helpers) lead the elementary chapel program at NFC. Today was their first time this year, and Addie was so excited to see Aunt Meggie at her school!

We had a girls lunch at Hopkins today with Mama, Aunt Q and Meggie. I got The Zorba sandwich today (ham, feta, black olives, peppers, etc…) which I haven’t gotten in years, and it was really tasty. We always love it here, and we always love our time together!

I picked up Emerson from school, and then we had a very chaotic half-hour trying to get through crazy traffic and get some food for dinner and make it to church on time for kids choir and worship team rehearsal. Jeff picked up Addison, and they got dinner, and ran home to let Pennie out. But Jeff also had to give her a little sink-bath, because the girl was an absolute mess!

On our way out at the end of the night, Addie was back to finding all of her favorite people for hugs.

As always on Wednesday nights, bedtime was later than usual, but the girls were still sweet and cooperative, so things went smoothly. I’m taking the night off from any chores, so I can just sit down and scroll on my phone and turn my brain off…
