The Tooth Fairy made a visit to our house last night! Supposedly, some of her friends have gotten $5 for one tooth already, but that’s a bit too rich for our blood, so $2 is more our speed…. 😉 But she was so excited and already asking to go to the Dollar Tree, wondering what she would get. She also decided she would write her a letter next time, to tell her she loved her, and she felt sure the Tooth Fairy would write her a letter back.
Addie wasn’t feeling the sister pics this morning, at least not without her paci, but both girls were still sweet and smiley.
We got a few pics of Addie at school, and then an old daycare teacher who works at Gilchrist now actually sent me a pic of Emmie at school today too! I miss getting daily school pics of my biggest girl, so this felt like such a treat.
I got the girls picked up from their schools, then we picked Daddy up from home so he could drop off his car, then we headed for a quick pre-church dinner. (That pretzel bacon pub cheeseburger from Wendy’s is like, super good. Practically as good as one of those gourmet burger places. And the blueberry pomegranate lemonade I had was really good too.)
We had an amazing Wednesday church service, but it was very late and we were very tired by the time we got back home. And so of course we immediately started on bedtime with jammies and snacks and lullabies and prayers.
I have a teensy little sore throat tonight, so I’m really just hoping that goes away by the time I wake up in the morning. And now it’s pretty much my bedtime at this point too, so goodnight!
