My cutie little orange girls, so sweet and precious in their matching dresses. And somehow, I don’t even know how, Addison stepped out of her her tiny sandal during the photos.
After dropping Addison in her class, we stopped by the triplets’ room to get hugs from all three of them.
And I started a new audiobook on my way to work. After an intense fantasy book, followed by a somber memoir, I wanted something completely light & fluffy for a change of pace.
And THIS is the amazing giant Greek salad I made for myself last night – romaine lettuce, carrots, red onion, banana peppers, kalamata olives, feta cheese & Zoe’s Kitchen Greek dressing. Soooo stinking good today! I actually couldn’t even finish the last 5-10 bites, because I was stuffed. This was one of the best salads I’ve personally made in a long time, and I made a lot of salads!
A couple school photos of my little orange-y girls, two pictures of my Addie Pie, and one picture of my Emmie Girl…
We got this chicken street taco kit from Costco the other day, and “made” it for dinner tonight. I gave it a 6 out of 10, but not having to actually cook bumped it up to an 8 out of 10 for me. But Jeff loved it and said 10 out of 10 😉 But I really loved that cilantro lime crema sauce. I put it on my yellow rice too, and that was delish.
The girls just had some of the leftover chicken & rice I made last week though, since Emmie said she wanted a break from tacos, after they had tacos for lunch at school today. This was them playing peek-a-boo during the middle of dinner, and Addie just giggling like crazy at Emmie.
We had just a little bit of time to hang out after dinner, and then it was time to start the whole bedtime routine.
But it wasn’t too difficult to get the girls down for sleep tonight, so after we got them both in bed, I came to work on my puzzle more. And then Jeff came over to join me, and we were able to place about 20 more pieces, which really is a huge deal for this specific puzzle, since it’s giving us such a hard time.
I washed up some dishes earlier while I was waiting on the yellow rice to cook, so I’m not going to wash anymore at this time tonight, since there aren’t that many anyways. I might go back and work on my puzzle a little bit more, before settling down on the couch for a little bit of tv time to end the evening…
