Sweet little girlies, giving sweet little huggies before school. Today was the end of the immigration section in Emerson’s gifted class, so they were supposed to dress like an early 1900’s immigrant, so we chose a long dress and called it good enough. Then Addison wanted a long dress too of course!
And today is silly socks day for Addie, so she’s wearing her otter socks from Grammy.
And here’s Emerson’s finished tenement room! They will stack all these boxes together to make a whole tenement building, so hopefully they’ll send a finished picture later!
We were actually running late at home this morning, so we changed up our usual routine, and Jeff took both girls to their schools, so I could get straight to work and make it on time. And I was just staring straight into the beautiful golden sunrise on my way driving in.
And these girls were so silly together in the backseat of Daddy’s car at school drop-off!
Finally shared my February reading wrap-up, now that March is almost over… And I had a great reading month! I accidentally read a bunch of rom-coms for Valentine’s month, but had a bunch of highly rated reads.
After school, Jeff’s dad, PopPop, picked up Emerson for some beignets for a snack, and then onto gymnastics. He brought her back to daycare for me to pick up Addison after class, and then we headed home. And all the way home, she was just so cute back there, reading her book in her leotard.
We had our usual pizza dinner for Friday night for me and Jeff, and the girls had little cups of instant mac & cheese, while we finally got a chance to watch Moana 2 for the first time. And it was so good! I’m sure we’ll watch bits and pieces of it on repeat again over the next week or so.
Once we finished the movie, it was time get ready for bed, which we did, and things went nice and smooth with no issues. We’re in a great little stretch of good bedtimes, and for that I am so very thankful!
Now time to watch a little bit of tv cuddled up on the couch with my hubby and my doggie!
