Today was “hat day” for Emerson, so she was rocking this fancy straw hat that came with her Easter dress last year 🤣 And Addison was just so very into this super soft sweater dress that she wore for the first time. She kept asking “Where did you find this soft dress, Mama?” It was a hand-me-down from Emmie, but I don’t even remember where we got it. Maybe thrifted it? Or hand-me-down from someone else before? I don’t know!

We had our typical chaotic Wednesday night getting the girls picked up from school and getting them dinner and getting to church all by 6pm. We were able to scarf down our food before worship team rehearsal, and this was Addie telling me, “This apple piece just poked me in the neck! I mean, poked me inside my throat!”

She brought her little boo bucket into the sanctuary and finished eating while we were rehearsing. And she just looked SO tiny in that big open room.

As I went to pick up Addie at the end of the night, one of her besties asked so sweetly, “Miss Halie, can you bring Addie over here so I can hug her?” And I’m like yeah obviously I’m gonna do that for you! They love each other 🥰

It was a late night as always by the time we got home and got started on the actual bedtime routine. But both girls were actually very sweet and we had no issues, and they were both very ready to go to sleep.
I’ve been watching the latest Netflix documentary called “The Perfect Neighbor.” I started it last night, and I’m about 75% through right now, and it’s awful. Interested to see how this ends…
