Surprise Sombrero

With a high of 75 degrees today, we let the little girls bare their tiny legs! 🤣

I put my cute tiny little white flower clips on my air vents this morning, and I love them! The thought of accessorizing my car never occurred to me before, but now I wanna see what other cutesy little things I can find.

And Emmie got another special breakfast from their favorite fancy gas station before school today.

For lunch today, Jeff took me out on a little birthday lunch date at Yasou Mediterranean Cafe. I know it doesn’t look like much on the plate, everything is kinda colorless, but it was delicious! (Honestly, their hummus was not my favorite, Kebabbas food truck was my favorite, but everything else was really good.)

And then for dinner, we had a little family birthday fiesta with my whole side of the family! We all met up at Pepper’s after work and school, and had a great, big, chaotic time together!

Beautiful birthday card from my Aunt Suzanne and Uncle Keith, and a cute little homemade potholder Uncle Keith made. I used to make these at my Grandmother’s house as a child, so I love this little piece of nostalgia.

My mom brought cupcakes and a cute little swirly candle. There were four colors of icing on the cupcakes, and they were all super bright and very pigmented, and it turned alllll of our mouths crazy colors.

They also snuck up and plopped this sombrero on my head and surprised me with a song, and I’m sure my face turned as bright as my pink-icing-tinted mouth 🤣

Just wanted to show off a couple of the cutie little pictures I colored last night. There are all sorts of videos on TikTok of people coloring and using these different shading techniques and stuff, so I’m gonna find some of those to watch to get some ideas.

Both girls actually conked out pretty easily tonight after a few episodes of Bluey. The baby sister actually kinda fell asleep on accident laying here sideways in our bed. I walked in to check, and was so surprised to find her like this!
