Sunday Afternoon in the Park

We had a really great morning at church today, from Sunday school and singing on praise team, to the golf cart ride back to the car at the end of the service.

Then a delicious lunch at the Wharf with some of the family after church…

These Mediterranean mahi tacos are seriously so super yummy.

The girls and I napped after lunch today, then Jeff took care of Addie for a little bit when she woke up first, and eventually Emmie woke up and played on her Kindle. Then it was time to feed Addison a bottle, so I watched a little bit of Survivor, but then we were ready to go out and enjoy this beautiful day!

We went down to the park that’s super close to our house, and while Jeff mowed the front yard, the girls and I stayed there at the park for at least 1.5 hours. The weather was absolutely perfect and beautiful, and we had a really lovely afternoon there with me and my two sweet angel girls!

These two blonde, blue-eyed beauties just steal my breath away!!

This goofball flopped back like this and told me to take her photo, and of course I obviously had to do just that!

We ordered a stuffed crust pizza for dinner, and Emmie also wanted a PB&J, and Addie ate some of everything.

We stayed at the park a little late, and then ate dinner a little late, and then by the time we finished, it was time to get ready for bedtime. Addie-girl didn’t nap enough at all today, so she was exhausted, and easily fell asleep after finishing her bottle.

I got the girls’ outfits picked out and laid out for the whole week, and then started on Emmie’s bedtime routine. She was pretty easy to get to sleep tonight too, after all the playing she did this afternoon following her short nap. I haven’t washed dishes for a couple of days, so there’s some random stuff piled up that I need to go take care of, so we can start clean and fresh for a new week.
