I’m actually loving seeing these girls in all their layers and their cute scarves from Grandmommie, even if we’re all very much over this crazy cold weather this week!
Mama, Megan and I had lunch at Milano’s today, for my very first birthday celebration of the year! Tomorrow is my birthday 😉 We shared a big plate of buffalo wings and a giant antipasto salad (all of which is low-carb), and Mama gave me a birthday present! I’ll have to lay it all out tomorrow and get a picture, because it’s a bunch of very cute book-ish/book lover things, and I loved it all!
All of us had to be at church early tonight for various reasons (well, not technically Addie), so we rushed around picking up girls, and grabbing some food, and making it to the church mostly on time. I was singing on the worship team, and Jeff was on the pro-presenter for the words, and Addie crawled up in our friend Renae’s lap to help her with the sound board. Renae said she was so funny and just saying all sorts of silly stuff. And I definitely believe that!
Post-Wednesday-night-church-bedtime is always a little wild and chaotic, trying to get everyone calmed down, and tonight was no exception to that. All the girlies (including Pennie) were riled up and crazy. Addie settled down in our bed for a few minutes, only for all five us to end up in it, horsing around and tickling Daddy, after I showed the girls his one tickle spot 😉
It was definitely later than usual, but the girls were all finally asleep by about 9:30pm. And now that I’m done here, I’m going to pop some popcorn, grab some water, and settle down for some tv time with hubby!
