Shepherd’s Pie

OK so Saturday was Animal Kingdom & Hollywood Studios, and then Sunday was Epcot, and Monday was Magic Kingdom. And we were exhausted. Then Tuesday we were able to sleep in a tiny bit in the hotel, before getting packed up to drive home. The drive back to Tally went WAY better than the drive to Orlando, but we still didn’t make it home until 4pm. We ordered Chinese take-out for dinner, and then all of us had fallen asleep in some form or another by 7pm. And this was the only picture I took that whole day! Addie got this little Cinderella doll as one of her Disney souvenirs, and she loves it so much already.

Wednesday morning, we met up with Nana again for the girls to spend the day with her, since unfortunately, Jeff and I had to go back to work, even tough the girls were still on spring break. We went up to Havana after work and went out to dinner up there at Off the Rails Irish Pub, and it was so good! I got the shepherd’s pie, and it was so savory and delicious.

Nana ordered Irish stew, and Addie Pie was practically climbing in her lap eating it with her.

Thursday we met back up with Nana again, to send the girls back home with her. These cute, hot pink fanny packs were there other Disney souvenirs they both picked out together, and I thought that was a great choice, since it’ll last them a while and they’ll get good use out of them. Daddy also brought them some goodies from Moldova, like this little capybara on a keychain attached to Addie’s new bag, and a (fake) Labubu slap bracelet for Emmie.

We don’t have much food in the house right now since we’ve been gone, so Jeff picked me up for a lunch date today. I was craving a Vietnamese banh mi, and he had never even had one before, so we went to Paris Banh Mi. We also got a pateso to try, and a few egg rolls, plus a tiramisu milk tea. And wow everything was so delicious.

We went back up to Havana after work to pick up the girls, and walked into a delicious-smelling, home-cooked meal. Roast beef, green beans, mashed potatoes, fresh corn on the cob & rolls – yummy!

Addison ate like 2.5 ears of corn, just kept munching away forever on that corn.

I made another little video today, specifically highlighting the Enchanting Tales with Belle experience, which was honestly so cool! We did it twice back to back, and these clips were from the second time, when Emmie was chosen as “the Beast,” and Addie wasn’t scared to go hug Belle at the end 😉

Tuesday night I was asleep before it was dark outside, then Wednesday night I spent 2.5 hours working on the Disney blogs, and so tonight I was able to catch up on the last couple of days. I’m the only one still awake at home now, watching last night’s Survivor episode (even though the vote was already spoiled for me on Facebook accidentally today), but I’m sure I’ll be in bed as soon as I finish the show!
