Baby Sister was absolutely adorable in her very oversized crewneck sweatshirt today! And as you’ll soon see, she wasn’t the only one…
Sometimes, Jeff and Emmie draw hearts on each other’s palms, from a kids picture book called “The Kissing Hand,” where cute little raccoons send kisses in the palms of their hands on the baby raccoons first day at school.
And today, they had a special little “donuts with grownups” in the Gilchrist cafeteria. Jeff was able to go in with her for a little bit, and of course Big Sister (Sassy Little Soul #1) was very happy about that!
And wouldn’t you know it, but totally coincidentally and unplanned, the triplets were wearing their same matching sweatshirts too! Grammy got them all for Christmas, and their so soft and cozy and cute!
Meg and I made plans to meet up with Mama for lunch today, and then out of nowhere, Papa showed and too and surprised us! We had yummy lunch at Surchero’s, and lots of good stories and conversations.
Emerson made the phases of the moon with Oreo’s in class today, and then they got to eat the cookies for snack after the completed their little projects.
And Addison had a good day at school too.
I made yummy chicken Caesar wraps with sweet potato tots for dinner tonight. I made these every week for about a month a while back, and then forgot about them. But these were even better tonight than before.
We did the girls’ bath time after dinner, and Jeff and I both worked together to clean up the kitchen and get the few leftovers put away. The girls both had a snack once they were in their jammies, they watched a couple episodes of “Bluey,” and I read on my Kindle app on my phone. (I absolutely FLEW through “November 9” by Colleen Hoover, and finished it in a span under two days. Highly recommend. Just since July, I’ve read eight of her books, and I’ve rated seven of them as 5 stars, with the remaining one at 4 stars. Clearly I like her writing and her stories and her characters. She’s incredible.)
Both of our sleepy girls did really well with bedtime tonight, and the kitchen is cleaned up, so I think I’m going to start myself a new puzzle finally, while watching a Nicholas Sparks book-turned-into-movie on Netflix, since Jeff went to bed early himself tonight.
