Cute little matching, happy orange girls! Honestly, I want a dress for myself with oranges on it 🙂
I’ve been eating the same exact thing at lunch for work every day for over a week now, and it’s so good. I’m absolutely obsessed with this roasted garlic hummus from Aldi, which is honestly the best store-bought hummus I’ve ever had.
This was my first Colleen Hoover book, and it was SO good. I ended up buying this Kindle version on sale on Prime Day, with a $3 credit I had, and flew through this book in the past two days. I have already been on hold at the library for two of her other books for a couple months now, and they still have 8 & 18 weeks left in the wait list, respectively… Definitely looking forward to reading more of her books – this one was 5 stars!!
Got a few pics of Addie Pie at nap time today, so sweet on her little cot.
And I’ve got to include these photos from yesterday that one of the teachers took and sent to Meg yesterday, because Addie is just so stinking adorable!
Found this little girl on the bye bye buggy in the hallway when I got to school this afternoon. She was holding this little fake flower she had apparently pulled off one of the little flower window boxes down the hallway.
After picking up Emerson from her class room, and heading on home, Addison fell asleep in the car, per her usual routine.
We had another all-Aldi meal tonight, with their BBQ pulled brisket, shells & cheese, and green beans. I thought the shells & cheese kinda tasted like cardboard (although the girls absolutely loved it), but that brisket was super delicious.
Addison was cleaning up after herself tonight, wiping down her tray. Check out that proud little smile on her sweet face!
It was bath night for the girls, so we got them splashing around for a while, and then got them cleaned up (and all the mac & cheese out of Addie’s hair), and then got them dressed in fresh clean jammies for bedtime. Addison was absolutely exhausted, so I actually rocked her to sleep even earlier than usual tonight, and laid her down in her bed before it was even 8pm. That worked out really well for Emmie and I to have our read-aloud time with Matilda, followed by all the rest of our usual bedtime routine.
I just checked the cameras and both girls appear to be totally sound asleep, so I’m grateful for that! Jeff’s working on his side job again for a few hours tonight, so I’ve got dishes to wash, and some tidying up in the living room to do, before it’s time to settle down.
