We were happy to see the trippies at school this morning, in accidentally-coordinating maroon outfits, but Addie just didn’t want to hold their hands 🙂
And sweet little Emmie had a good drop-off today too.
It’s been a long time since I regularly checked out physical library books (I read about 99% of my reading on Kindle or digital audio), but it felt like old times reading a library book on my lunch break today.
Addie had a great day at school; love getting these cute photos of her.
It had just started raining when I was getting the girls, and luckily Emmie was able to make it into the car without getting more than a few drops on her, before it really picked up.
Last week, I had that delicious Mediterranean Tuna Salad at Hopkins with my mama, and I loved it so much, I decided I needed to do a restaurant recreation at home tonight. It was a LOT of prep (to make the tuna and prep all the veggies) and and a LOT of ingredients, but it really was delicious! I also made a third giant salad to take myself for lunch this week too. (I didn’t end up using the sweet peppers or the ranch dressing, but I used everything else.)
After dinner, we had our cute cozy coffee shop station playing on YouTube, while we put all of the Christmas boxes and decor back up in the top of Addie’s closet. I’m actually very proud of us for doing that the very next day after the tree came down, because normally that would take like 7-10 business days to accomplish 🤣
The girls ran around playing while Jeff and I were working around the house, and then crashed almost instantly once it was time to actually settle down.
I didn’t start a puzzle or do my nails last night, but I think tonight’s the night to paint my fingernails, while finishing up this current episode of “Ginny & Georgia” I’m watching.
