Not really sure why Addie was standing like that, holding her arms behind her back, but both girls were still super cute.
Oh wait, I just noticed Emmie was standing the exact same way 😂
Meg didn’t feel like eating her leftover lasagna at her office today, so she texted all of us to go out instead. We chose Maria Maria, and it was such a nice time, and the food was so good. I wanted to try something new today, so I got this “wet” carnitas fajita burrito, and it was good. (But I’d still prefer their carnitas sope, which is my favorite.)
I went back to work after lunch, planning to work a regular day. But then Jeff called saying the auto shop had called them and my car was finally fixed and ready to be picked up! But we had to pick it up by 4pm, and then get the rental car returned, and figure out how the two of us could get all our 3 cars where they needed to be and when… So I left work at 2:15, and we ran all around town for the next almost-three hours together, and it ended up feeling a bit like a little mid-day day-date together. One of our stops was to fill up the rental with gas, so we went to the newest gas station over on our side of town, which is huge and super nice and they have tons of drinks and snacks, like this caramel vanilla iced latte for a whopping $1.89, which was really good.
Bye-bye little GMC Terrain rental – we loved you, and hated to give you back so soon! Haha 😁
Oh and before installing the girls’ car seats back in my car, we went through the car wash, and vacuumed it all out really well, because WOW the crumbs in that back seat were out of control…
Addie had fun at school as always… I particularly like the picture of Addie coloring up her little baby doll with the blanket. So sweet!
Jeff had to go do some computer work for a family friend tonight, so I made a quick dinner of ravioli and garlic bread for the girls and me.
Then we had some play time, and bath time, and then I was sharing some peanut M&M’s with them. I don’t know why she did this or what exactly she was doing, but she had been sitting down in front of me watching Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, and turned around and showed me her hand like she was worried about it. But then I laughed out loud when I saw her face! I guess she was just rolling a blue M&M all over her little face! Emmie got me a wet paper towel while I held Addie still, and we got her cleaned up.
Jeff got home a few minutes later, and came with his Zaxby’s box that his computer client had gotten for him. The girls were so excited to see him and glad he was home, and stay glued to his side for the next 10 minutes. And glued to that chicken finger box with him 😉
Our tired little girls went to sleep easily tonight. And now that I’m done with this post, I’m going to finish my current episode of “Firefly Lane,” then read a little, and go to sleep myself. I’ve been super tired today, and I need a good night’s rest tonight!
