Yesterday, Emerson told Sheppy she thought he should check out the Christmas tree, so of course that’s where he had to go last night, and she was so thrilled to find him there this morning.
Today was gray and rainy and dreary, but Emerson was a rainbow (and not pictured, she had a rainbow blanket today, too) and Addison was all sunflowers, so they were our bright spots, as always, but even more so today!
Sweet punkin fell asleep in the car, and didn’t wake up until we got to her class to get her out of the car seat.
Absolutely delicious leftovers for lunch today.
Emmie was coloring some Christmas pictures for me to take to my office for myself and my friend Heather, while I was cooking dinner.
Addie had some more yogurt for dinner, Emerson ended up with a PB&J (because she didn’t like the Philly cheesesteak flavored Walmart-version of Hamburger Helper; and quite frankly, neither did I, but jeff picked it a while back so we gave it a try), and then we had some time to just hang out and chill together after dinner.
This cute sunflower outfit (which says “Little Miss Sassy Pants”) was a gift from one of our favorite teachers at daycare, Ms. Q, and it’s so bright and sunny and cute.
Emmie has has the most beautiful curls these last few days with all the humidity in the air, and she wanted to see them tonight for herself.
And her face is still looking better and better every day. I think by this weekend (two full weeks after the injury), it should finally be all better by then.
Sweet little Addie had fallen asleep easily in her Daddy’s arms, so I stole a few snuggles for a bit, and the laid her down to sleep. She stayed completely asleep, and I took like six photos of her adorable self and her beautiful face, but here are just two of them 🙂
I washed about half of the dishes earlier right after dinner, but there’s some still left, plus all the baby bottles, so I gotta get that done, then I can settle down and chill out for the rest of the night.
