Primary Care

Addie was looking adorable this morning, but somehow, I only took blurry pictures today…

But look at that sweet little face!

And Emmie was much better today. All smiles!

In the car this morning, I started “The Office Ladies” podcast, with Jenna Fischer and Angela Kinsey, who played Pam & Angela on “The Office.” They’re so cute, and it’s gonna be fun to listen to the podcast and re-watch the show.

I actually had my first regular doctors appointment in a few years this morning, to get established with a new primary care doctor. She wants me to get some bloodwork done to just test out all the things, and she also gave me a handout for exercises for my foot. (I don’t think I’ve talked about it here yet, but I’ve been having some pretty severe pain in the bottom of my left heel for over a month now. I’ve got a podiatry appointment scheduled in a couple of weeks, but I’ll try these PT-style moves she gave me until then.)

Got a couple cute photos of sweet little Addison at school today.

Tonight’s Fresh Market meal was bleu cheese burgers, with fries and garlic butter green beans. The burgers were decent, but I burnt them a little too much, and that flavor kinda overpowered everything else. (I was also super annoyed with all the popping grease popping everywhere, and smoke all over the whole front of the house. I made a sweeping declaration that I’m never making burgers inside again…At least not beef ones, that are so fatty and greasy…)

After dinner, we put on a timer and cleaned up the living room and dining room just as much as we could before the timer went off. Then we got the girls ready for bed, and watched two episodes of “Bluey,” before starting on their actual bedtime routines. Emerson was especially very sleepy, and was literally asleep before I even finished our normal stuff and left her room.

Addison didn’t fight too hard, but she did need Jeff to hold her just a little longer. He’s actually still holding her now, but I’ve got about 8 minutes left of “My Girl” before it’s over (yes, I cried during that part), and then I’ll go check on those two, before starting on the dishes.
