Practicing Photography

My tiny cheetah girl was showing of her Mirabel shirt before school this morning.

And then although we don’t have a picture of Emmie before school, we actually got two photos of Addie from school today.

We had our “fun arts” classes at church again tonight, so I ordered McDonald’s through the app, used a 20% off coupon, and fed us all for only $17 – what a deal! Then Emerson went to vocals class with Aunt Meggie, Jeff taught the drawing class, and I had two kiddos for photography tonight. So as practice, we went around taking some photos of the other classes. I let one of them use my phone, and he took about 40 photos. These next two are from him, and then I grabbed Jeff’s phone and three of us took a photo of each other taking a photo.

And of course Jeff is out here showing off, with his “quick sketch” of Jonah being spit out of the big fish onto dry land!

Right at the very end of the night, Emerson was playing in her usual Wednesday night class, and fell into the windowsill and cut her eyelid. It’s small cut, but it’s already a little swollen, and I’m just really hoping it doesn’t turn into too much of a black eye by the morning.

She held a little ice pack on her eye for about an hour when we got home, and then fell asleep really quickly because she was exhausted. Addison is asleep now too, and I just air-fried some chicken nuggets to take to work for lunch tomorrow. So now it’s time to settle in and relax a little before bedtime.
