Philly Cheesesteak

Today was PJ day for Emmie at school, so she basically just had to roll out of bed, then brush her hair and teeth, and she was ready to go.

And we got to school at the same time as the triplets today, and they were very excited to show Addison their classroom science experiment. This is Bob the Pumpkin, and they’re leaving him in the jar to decompose, and then eventually grow a new pumpkin.

Just one picture of Addie at school today.

I had praise team rehearsal at church tonight, but luckily I got there early enough for Food Truck Wednesday (which we do the first week of the month), to try out this food truck I’d never had before. I love philly’s and have been following their Facebook page for a while now, hoping to try them out. And it was delicious. It was fast and piping hot, and loaded down with lots of steak. You get your choice of cheese, so I asked Rob’s preference, and he suggested both the wiz & provolone mix, and so obviously that’s what I went with. So good, and probably one of the best one’s I’ve ever had.

We had a great night for our regular Wednesday night praise and prayer service, and then got the girls ready for bed as soon as we got home. As soon as I’m done with this post, I’m going to go set up the coffee pot for tomorrow morning, and prep all the ingredients for pot roast, so I can just quickly dump it all into the crockpot in the morning. Then I’ll probably spend a few minutes staring at this puzzle, trying to place a few more pieces. I worked on it for about an hour last night, and just barely finished that orange tree at the top, and a few little flower sections.

Jeff is always weirdly good at puzzles, so I gotta get him to work on this one with me now, especially since I”m down to all the pieces that are mostly just black background with a little tiny bit of color… Now, off to go take care of all my chores for the night, while listening to my audio book.
