I’ve been wanting to try this new drive-thru convenience/grocery/bakery that opened near our house a few weeks ago. This morning, we went there to get some of their breakfast items to try out, and they were so good!

Look at the pure happiness on the face of my Emerson! She’s just the most joyful, sweetest little girl.
…
Happy little girls on a cold morning, even though Addison and I were both tired from a long night of not much sleep…

It was an extremely cold morning, but I had two sweet, happy girls! And look at the goofiness on my Emerson’s face 🙂

Addie slept a little better last night than the night before, but Jeff and I both still spent some time holding her through the night, instead of her sleeping in her bed the whole night. And little peanut was tired and fell asleep on the way to school! She actually falls asleep in the car almost every time we drive somewhere, no matter how close or far we’re driving…

We had a very different morning than usual… I went straight to work by myself, and even stopped to treat myself to CFA breakfast… (Also, Addie-Pie did not want to sleep in her bed by herself last night, so Jeff and I basically took turns holding her all night. It was really rough.)

Another cold morning for Sunday morning church, but luckily I added new tights to yesterday’s Walmart order, so she was good to go this morning. Not exactly sure what this crazy face is about, but she’s a sweet little goofball.

At home, Addison woke up around 6:30 am, then her and I both fell back asleep around 7am in the recliner, and slept until about 8am. At Nana’s house, Emerson was up and at ’em at 6:45, making breakfast with Nana around 7am, and then baking chocolate chip cookies by 8am! 🙂

We loved seeing our triplets again this morning! All the “big” girls were singing to Addison again today too. They just all love each other so much!

This week, Aunt Meggie and Uncle Bo are out of town, so Grammy & Papa are taking care of the triplets. And Grammy and I worked it out today for us to get to school at the same time! The girls were all singing “Rockabye Baby” and “Jesus Loves Me,” to Addison again this morning, which was so sweet.

Grammy got these happy little girls dressed for church this morning, after their sleepover last night.
Then after church, we all went to lunch together at Willie Jewel’s BBQ. I ordered the sausage sandwich for the first time (and got sweet potato mash, also for the first time), and everything was really good. I shared my sweet potatoes with Addison, and she loved them too.
When we got home, Emerson and I took a nap together, and both of us slept for about two hours. Addie didn’t sleep too long, so Jeff played with her so Emmie and I could rest more.
Then we headed over to Nana and PopPop’s house for playtime and dinner time.
Ham, homemade mac & cheese, buttered corn, salad (Nana even bought my fave Olive Garden Italian) and Hawaiian rolls.
Playing hide & go seek…
The most delicious chocolate éclair cake for dessert.
Emerson had an absolute meltdown when we told her it was time to leave and head home, so Emerson already made plans with Nana for next weekend. Then halfway home she realized she had put down her snacks somewhere and forgotten them there, so that was another meltdown. So we had some special cuddle times at home. She decided she just needed to eat some cheese in bed and watch tv to help her feel better. And dangit if that didn’t sound exactly like something I would do…
We read a bedtime book and had lots more loves, and then she was worn out and ready to go to sleep.
Addie girl needed to finish her bottle, and then I got her to sleep as well.
Now, I think I might just snuggle up with some cheese and a blanket, and watch some of our favorite YouTube “friends” with my hubby. (We also watch these friends, and these friends every week. No, we don’t know them, but we’ve been watching their channels for years, and sometimes it feels like we actually do know them!)
As titled, today is my 34th birthday! After an early wake up call for Addie’s first bottle, Jeff let me fall back asleep on the couch, while he took care of the girls, got donuts for breakfast, and also picked up our weekly Walmart grocery order.

I just did drop-off for one kid this morning, but she did great on her own. I actually just dropped her off in the lobby, and the director walked her back to her classroom for me, because I still had Addison in the car waiting.

Today was ballet class this morning, and although you can’t quite tell, Emerson was already wearing her leotard and tutu under her ballerina dress. And of course she was super excited for ballet!

My website was undergoing some maintenance tonight, and it’s already 9:30 and I’m just now starting this, and I’m kinda tired of sitting her already. So I’m just gonna throw it out there, bare bones, and the call it a night…
Easy drop-off this morning for my cute girls.

On the way to school this morning, Emerson said, “Are we going to see Aunt Meggie today? I miss the triplets.” And lucky for her, we did get to see them this morning at school drop-off! For some reason, the triplets aged like 6 months since we saw them 2 weeks ago, and all of them look sooo much older to me.

After a LOT of days spent mostly at home, with just the four of us, we went back to school and work full-time today! Drop-off went off without a hitch, which I had been slightly nervous about, so that was a great thing.
