Handprint on my Heart

After an extremely busy day yesterday, all of us were able to sleep in a good bit this morning, and then we had the most laid back Black Friday. Well, I think Emerson was still up early, but I slept until about 9am, and then when I got up, Emmie and I put on a movie and I kinda snoozed off and on during that for a while too. And even once I woke up then, I was barely up and moving until like 3pm. Jeff and the girls had been doing all sorts of playing and tv-watching and who knows, while I just snoozed on the couch. Eventually, the girls actually joined me on the couch for afternoon movie rest time, watching “The Sound of Music.” Not too long into it though, both could barely keep their eyes open, so they just kinda naturally settled together like this, and took a little cat nap for about 45 minutes.
