Emerson wanted an egg & cheese biscuit for breakfast today. And since we were actually pretty low on breakfast food items, we readily agreed and ran through the McD’s drive-thru for biscuits and hash browns. (Sadly, the iced coffee was really weird and gross today, so I only had like, two sips before dumping it out.)

We started off our morning super early, as usual with this girl, and chowed down on some “cunch cunch,” which is Cinnamon Toast Crunch.

So Growing Room was closed today for a teacher planning day. I took the day off to spend with Emmie at home. We had ourselves a great Mommy & Emmie Day! And even though we were only going to a drive-thru breakfast, and a drive-thru reverse teacher parade at school, my girl got dressed up nice and fancy! She loves these maxi dresses!

This tiny girl looks so cute in anything she wears, but I really liked her in these little shorts and sandals today. Also, she had a little chocolate smudge on her chin from her granola bar, that I didn’t notice until after this first photo 🙂

Emmie woke us up around 6:30am today, and I could barely keep my eyes open laying on the couch with her. Luckily, she as very calm and quiet and kept herself entertained, watching “Aristocats,” coloring, eating dry cereal, and working on her flower garden.

As usual, Little Nugget was so super excited for water day. It was actually the last one of the summer, and she just couldn’t understand WHY? But look at this hair!
