Emerson is looking way too big these days, with that sass and the anklets and the adorable pony tail. Addison insisted on carrying her own blanket to the car, and then covering herself up with it on the steps.
But I did get a cute picture of Addie at school, and Jeff got another cute one of Emmie at camp.
I was cracking up at these pictures of Addie from school, dressed up in these funny costumes with her little friends. So cute and hilarious!
After camp/work, Emerson went out shopping with Nana again tonight, and Jeff was working one of his side jobs, so it was just me and Addison at home. I’ve been feeling like I’m on the very brink of a cold, or maybe just sinus issues or something, so I made myself a bowl of jazzed up, spicy ramen noodles, with garlic & onions and a soft-boiled egg, plus all these toppings. And it was really quite good.
I saved out a little bit that wasn’t spicy for Addie, and she loved these noodles too. She told me she wanted to watch pandas, so I queued up Kung Fu Panda, which was just perfect, because Po (the panda) works at his Dad’s noodle shop.
Addison thought she was so sneaky and clever when she crawled up on the coffee table and started drinking my water. I didn’t say anything to her, but she looked over and saw me taking a picture, so she very quickly “CHEESEEEE”-ed me with that big ole smile.
Shortly after, Nana brought Emerson back home. The girls both got some snacks, and put on their nightgowns, and we had some time to chill out and watch Bluey together. Both girls were sweet and sleepy, and I was able to get them down for bedtime really easily by myself, and into their beds. Jeff is home now, so I’m gonna go hang out with him now.
