So for the pics this morning, Addie was mad I took her paci away, and turned her back to me. Then Emmie pretended to see a birdie, which Addie loves, in order to get her to turn around and not look so grumpy.
And then she chit-chatted in the back seat all the way to school, and was smiley and happy when we got there!
Today, Jeff picked up Emerson for her gymnastics class today, and he loved getting to watch her, and she look adorable in a new leotard from Nana.
Afterwards, he dropped her off at my office very late in the afternoon, and she colored for just a few minutes, tried on my blue light glasses, said hi to some of my friends, and then it was time for us to head out.
I made a simple pasta with marinara sauce for dinner, with side salad and garlic bread, and Emerson totally cleaned her bowl. (Hers was only butter noodles, that’s why her bowl literally looks clean. But she did eat every bite.)

After dinner, Jeff took Addie and made a Walmart trip for toilet paper and Claritin and Sudafed, because now we’re both feeling the start of a summer cold/allergies coming on… I washed up some dishes while they were gone, and Emmie ate a bowl of cereal for her second dinner. After all that, it was past their bedtime, but they were sleepy and ready for bed, and things went pretty smoothly.
Gonna go load up meds and probably some hot tea, and then get some rest…
