Silly, goofy, happy girls this morning 🙂 (And if you can’t tell, Addie is holding a tub of cotton candy she found and felt the need to carry around the house all morning.)
Easy-peasy drop-off for both of our little girls today, like usual.
Yesterday, I made a big ole serving of pasta salad for a retirement luncheon at work today. Our Bureau Chief and a few volunteers decorated a big conference room so festive, and we had tons of food and desserts for a great lunch. And it was a nice time with all our coworkers!
A few weeks ago, they painted the walls in our offices from tan to white. They also ripped out old rubber baseboards. This week, they’re replacing the carpet. So we had to empty out every single drawer, and box it all up, and box up all of our paperwork & everything. I brought some stuff home, and moved some stuff into someone else’s office, and those five boxes is the remainder of everything. I’m in the first block that is getting done tonight, so I had to move out this afternoon, and then our IT folks came and packed up our computer equipment too.
We also had to create little layouts to show how our furniture is supposed to be put back when they finish. So I’m looking forward to seeing how it looks tomorrow, and getting everything put back in order…
My baby girl had a good day, just riding around in cars with her little girlfriend!
After picking up the girls from school today, we went over to Nana & PopPop’s house to have dinner with them, after a busy weekend where we couldn’t get together. We did a simple dinner, and just had some time to hang out together.
Emerson told me she liked the sky on the way home, and I did too.
And look at little Miss Cheeser, popping a new tooth on her upper gum, finally!!! This is only her third tooth, so we’re very excited about it 🙂 (And although it looks like she’s mad at me, she was really just saying cheese and squinting in the bright light.)
Loving on Daddy, eating some Pringles, with her little tiny dimple popping out a little bit.
I did Emmie’s bedtime routine with her, and then Addie needed her mama too. So ignore my end-of-the-day smudged eye makeup, and just focus on how sweet my sleepy little girl is.
I’ve been watching a bunch of random documentaries lately (like for real, the most random topics all over the spectrum), but I just started another season of Survivor for the first time in a while, and I’m excited about it 🙂
