New Air Fryer!

It was cold this morning, but these girls were cute and cuddly and adorable!

My lunch today was so simple, but so good! And I loved every sip of that fresh squeezed OJ! Such a treat!

The girls had good days at school today!

This goofy girl is obsessed with her tongue these days! She also makes this funny little clicking noise with her tongue all the time, and it’s adorable and hilarious.

Trader Joes pesto tortellini and salad for dinner tonight. (This was right before I accidentally spilled the entire bag all over the kitchen and Emmie had to help me clean them up. And yeah, 5-second-rule, we totally still cooked all the ones that fell all over the place…) Nana actually came over tonight while I was cooking, so we invited her to stay for dinner, so that worked out nicely.

We all cleaned our bowls tonight, including this big girl, who was very proud of herself, and very excited to share some dessert with Mommy, since she finished everything.

And look at my pretty new 13-n-1 Dual Heat Air Fryar countertop oven! This fancy new machine replaces my old toaster oven, and does about a million more things than that old thing. This was my birthday present from Jeff, and his parents chipped in, so it’s from all of them together, and I’m so excited to use it! The first thing I’ll use it for is my breakfast bagel tomorrow morning, and then after that, I wanna find something fun to make this weekend. I’m very excited about this bad boy! What all do y’all make in your air fryers? I need tips & tricks & ideas & recipes!

This was Emerson “driving” us in her “car” (couch) to her wedding! And of course we were all invited to the after-party in her room, which was her unicorn night light set on blinking with all three colors.

Emmie and Jeff watched a few BabyBus YouTube videos together, and I gave Addie a bottle while watching Survivor. Then we tried to get both girls to sleep, but it was a rough night, and it took quite a while to get both of them down. Addie was actually coughing quite a bit while I was holding her, so I’m really just hoping and praying that subsides, so that she can rest well overnight, and so that we can too…

Last night, after juicing 60-ish oranges and all that entails, and after washing a giant sink-full of dishes, when I had just a few things left in the sink, I sliced the tip of the index finger on my right hand on a giant knife. Jeff had to bandage me up, and then I sat for an hour with my hand on top of my head, trying to slow the blood flow. We got it under control and taken care of, and re-bandaged it again before bedtime. It’s possible I might have needed a couple of stitches, but it was 10pm, and I did not want to go sit in the ER for 4 hours that late at night, waiting on a possible stitch or two. So I opted not to go.

We re-bandaged it again tonight, and it really doesn’t look too bad. I also texted a photo to my friend Greg who is an ER doctor here in town, and he said it probably didn’t need stitches, but even if it did they wouldn’t do it now, since it had been 24 hours and the risk of infection was too high. So we’re just gonna continue on with hydrogen peroxide, Neosporin, and Band-Aids, and hopefully it’ll heal quickly!

Anyways, I won’t share pictures of that, since I know a lot of people don’t like stuff like that, but all that to say, I got Jeff to wash the dishes for me for a couple of days while my finger heals, so that’s not all bad! 🙂

It’s been about an hour since I laid Addison down in her bed, but she was just crying and Jeff went to pick her back up. So now we gotta get her back to sleep again, before we can rest and relax ourselves.
